Brainium Studios, LLC, an Oregon corporation (“Brainium”, “we” or “our”), respects your individual privacy.
Brainium may collect information from you at the following three different stages.
First, we collect anonymous non-personal information from all users of our Services. For example, when using our mobile applications, our servers may automatically record certain information about your use of the application such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system, the links and advertisements on our mobile applications that you clicked on, the amount of time you spent interacting with the Services and other statistics. We use this information to administer our Services and we analyze (and may engage third parties to analyze) this information to improve and enhance the Services by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to our users’ needs and preferences. We also use the IP Address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used. In some cases we collect and store information about where you are located, such as by converting your IP address into a rough geolocation. We may use location information to improve and personalize our Services for you. When you access the Services via a mobile device, we will collect information related to the mobile device such as the serial number or MAC address and the open UDID of the device. We may use this information to improve and personalize our Services for you.
Third, Brainium may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners or other users.
As stated above, we do not intend to collect, nor do we sell to any third parties, information that personally identifies you. The information that we collect is typically anonymous and used only to improve your experience with our Services. Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide you with a smooth and efficient experience while using the Services. However, in the event we obtain your personal information during your use of the Services, we will not give your personal information to, nor share your personal information with, any third party not affiliated with or owned by Brainium, except with your express permission, or when otherwise permitted by law. For example, Brainium may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
We store information that we collect through cookies and log files to create a profile of our customers. A profile is stored information detailing how individual customers use the Services. Collected information in a profile may be tied to the customer’s personally identifiable information. We use your profile to help us improve your experience.
Log files record internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, internet service provider (ISP) referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track a customer’s movement in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13 we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.
We will disclose personal information when required by law, or if we have good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with current judicial proceedings, a court order or legal process served on us, (b) protect and defend our rights, or (c) protect the rights, property, and other interests of our users or others.
In the event that Brainium goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of a portion of its assets, our customers’ personal information may be part of the assets transferred. If, as a result of the business transaction, your personally identifiable information will be used in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, you will be given a choice consistent with our Notification of Changes section.
Given the nature of the Internet and the fact that network security measures are not infallible, we cannot guarantee the security of your information. We use encryption to protect sensitive information online.
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, we may transfer your information to the United States and process it there.
